Gonna be a party! Georges is definitely my favorite venue in F-ville, probably one of my faves anywhere. Just an old school honkytonk vibe to it. Two days...... |

shoooweeee, boys melted all the snow & ice in Fayett-nam last night. On FIRE! That's what they were. I'm really hoping krazykarl or....someone, kept a setlist. I sure as hell did not. We got our fill o' chicken pie though! New tunes are smokin', I especially dig that Suwanee Mt Catfight one. And that Leevi tune...whoa powerful-strong...
Some pics:
Sure sign that we're on the right track
Motion sickness! Haha. Last few notes of the night being played...

yeah what was that Paris song? I was already...umm...enjoying the evening immensely by then so I don't remember many of the lyrics, but yeah there was definitely a paris women song.
I snagged one of those Billy Reid shirts too. Soft as a fresh-clubbed seal, it sure is!
The other couple in the group of crow virgins I brought damn near bought Monica out after the show. 6 cd's, t shirts, & a stocking cap LOL. They were quite impressed with her, noting her friendliness. They were saying there's like 11 bajillion people behind us waiting so we were ready for a "throw your $$ over here and get the @&^! outta the way" kinda thing, but she was wanting to chat and know where we were from and how we liked the show and trying to make sure the t shirts were gonna fit and talking about the girl of the couple's peasant top & where she got it and all kinds of other stuff. They came away highly impressed with the evening from beginning to end |

Could the Paris song possibly be Love by Moonlight? |

That's what I'm thinking. It was in a similar place in the setlist at the New Year's Eve show. |

No, it wasn't Love By Moonlight. Ketch sang this one. I've got a short video clip on my camera but the quality is not very good. I think part of the lyrics are like "My teenage queen, she's the gal for me, oh sure is sweet like the hambone meat...?... My teenage queen from gay Paree".
'Go round or moonlight' was listed on their setlist, but they never played either. They played Chicken Pie instead. |

good deal ctfshjohn, that's a hell of a journey! Did anyone else notice that George's staff was really crackin' down on video? Wonder if that was at crow request due to the large number of new stuff being played? I mean, there was still people managing to get some songs, but there was a whole lotta mag lights being shined on people and shutting them down if their camera was up for more than a few seconds. Never seen that @ George's before, including multiple crow shows. They're usually like "Just have a good time and don't burn our joint down please" |
